Southern Centers' Employees assisted Volunteers of America and the Rapides Parish Sheriff’s dept with Impact 2013, a fun-filled day of games, bands, silent auction and much more to help raise money for Volunteers of America on Sunday, April 28th.

Southern Centers' Employees participated at the Oakdale Relay for Life and raised $1278. BFCU was present with a Willy Wonka themed booth and sold candy and photos with characters from the movie to raise money for the American Cancer Society.
Southern Centers' Employees prepared and served lunch at The Manna House in Alexandria. The Manna House serves a free lunch to the less fortunate 365 days of the year.

Southern Centers' Employees taught a Budgeting/Career class at Anacoco High School to FBLA Members.

Southern Centers' Employees participated in Cenla Heart Walk.
Barksdale Federal is a proud sponsor of the KTBS One Class At A Time $1,000 grant. We were excited to be there to present a check to Ronald Pradel at the Caddo Middle Career and Technology Center, our winner on February 27th.

Southern Region employees participated in the National Day of Service at the Habitat for Humanity Restore.
Employees donated comfort items for local heroes at the VA Medical Center.

BFCU Employees donated 378 bags of clothing to Goodwill Industries.

The Celebrate Barksdale picnic was a great success! Barksdale Airmen and their families were treated to lunch and a live DJ as an effort to show our appreciation for all they do!

Employees united to provide "Home Sweet Home" baskets to the Providence House's recent graduates! These families received home essentials to try and lift some of the burdens of setting up a new home.



Fort Polk Center’s employees volunteered their time at The Fort Polk’s 2012 Freedom Fest to distribute hand fans to soldiers and their family members to help beat the heat.


Barksdale sponsored the 2nd Annual Wounded War Heroes Bass Tournament at Toledo Bend and fed approximately 35 soldiers a Bar-B-Que dinner.

Pines Road center employees participated in Greenwood Farmers Market event, provided information about BFCU to the visitors and gave out goodies.

Southern Centers’ employees participated in Fort Polk's Spouse Appreciation Day.

Deridder employees participated in the Southwest Louisiana Veteran’s Parade, in which employees threw candy and patriotic goodies to the crowd.
