Barksdale Federal CU offers unique checking accounts, each designed to help you manage your money in the most efficient manner. They are custom made to fit a variety of different lifestyles.

Regular Checking Account 

Barksdale Federal's Regular Checking account pays dividends when you maintain a minimum balance of $1000 or more. There is no minimum opening deposit and no monthly fee if your aggregate daily balance stays above $200. For members ages 18-24, and enrolled in college, the monthly account maintenance fee is waived.

     

Money Market

Earn the highest possible return on your investments without losing access to your funds or the security of federal insurance with a Money Market account.
A minimum balance of $2,500 is required to open the account, earn higher dividends and avoid a monthly service fee. There is no minimum withdrawal amount and you are allowed to write three checks per month for withdrawal from this account.

     

Plus Checking Account 

With Plus Checking you will enjoy all the benefits of Regular Checking but with greater dividend earnings! A minimum initial deposit and minimum balance of $1,500 is required to earn higher dividends and avoid the $8 monthly maintenance charge.

     

Student Checking Account 

If you are 18 years to 24 years old (under 18 must have joint parent or guardian) you will benefit from our Student Checking account. You will receive all the perks of our Regular Checking plus FREE color-coordinated checks, and you will earn dividends on a minimum balance of only $500. Being a student and a member of Barksdale Federal has never been so rewarding!

     

Business Checking Account 

Barksdale Federal offers 3 Business Checking accounts to fit your needs. All accounts feature Overdraft Protection from a Business LOC (based on member qualifications), $100 minimum opening deposit, free Single Signature Traveler's Checks, free Visa® check card, free Internet Banking/Bill Payer and an NSF fee of only $20.

     

Prestige Checking Account 

Our improved Prestige Checking account is the best that checking has to offer. This account delivers a wealth of benefits and savings for a low monthly fee of only $7.50. Look at some of the benefits you get with this account:
