CONDUCTING TRANSACTIONS: On March 22nd, Gov. Edwards issued a Stay at Home order directing all Louisiana residents to shelter at home. To help, Barksdale Federal has a number of digital services in place so you can bank from your home. Services like:

STIMULUS CHECKS: Your stimulus payment will be deposited directly to the credit union or bank account you provided to the IRS for your 2019 tax refund, or 2018 refund if you haven’t filed yet this year. If you’re an SSI recipient who does not file a tax return, the payment will be made to the account you use for SSI direct deposit. If you did not use direct deposit for your 2018 or 2019 tax return, you will receive a check in the mail. Download our mobile app today so you can deposit your stimulus check using remote check deposit.
SCAM ALERTS: Scammers are out there preying on people's fears and worries. Do not reply to any requests for personal information to "claim your stimulus check". Hang up on robo call scams pitching COVID-19 tests and treatments. Watch out for COVID-19 charity related scams too. Stay safe and alert!

• Penalty Free Certificate Withdrawal: through April 30, 2020 we will waive early withdrawal of up to $10,000 per member
from any certificate account. (Tax penalties still apply to IRA Certificate withdrawals.)
