Center Manager

The Center Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the credit union branch and making sure staff follow all credit union policies and procedures. As well as, oversee deposit and lending activities to make sure transactions are handled accurately and according to credit union policies. Work with the Regional Manager on consumer loans, sales and member outreach programs, and plans to grow the branch. Help members understand the credit union’s products and services and provide accurate information to answer their questions. Handle member concerns and complaints in a professional and timely manner. Build strong relationships with members and support a positive member experience. Lead and participate in community development and outreach projects on behalf of the credit union. Support the overall success and growth of the branch by helping the team meet its goals and serve members effectively.

Requirements: At least five years of related experience in a financial institution, with a minimum of two years of supervisory experience. High school graduate or equivalent. Additional college coursework in business or finance preferred. Thorough knowledge of Company services and products. Understanding of related legal and regulatory requirements. Familiarity with Branch functions, policies, and procedures. Strong interpersonal, leadership, and supervisory skills.

Staff Auditor

The Staff Internal Auditor helps ensure the Credit Union operates with integrity, efficiency, and accountability. By performing audit testing and evaluating internal controls, this role supports informed decision-making and continuous improvement throughout the organization. The Staff Internal Auditor contributes to the success of the Internal Audit department while helping safeguard the trust of our members and employees.

Requirements: Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or business-related field is required. Proficient in the use of Microsoft Word and Excel. Accurate and attentive to detail. One to two years of financial service experience preferred. Industry certification (Certified Internal Auditor CIA or Certified Information Systems Auditor CISA) preferred but not required; willingness to obtain the certification is required. 

Lead Call Center Representative

As a Lead Call Center Representative you'll provides excellent service to members and help support the Call Center team. This position handles member questions, account requests, complaints, and other service needs by phone, email, Internet, and other communication channels. You are also the go-to person for other Call Center Representatives when they need help with a member question, transaction, or difficult situation. This position works closely with the Manager to make sure the team has the information and support they need.

Requirements: Two to five years of similar related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. High school graduate or equivalent. Strong communication skills with a professional and courteous demeanor. Ability to handle high call volumes and multiple tasks simultaneously. Supervisory experience. Proficiency in using computer applications and learning new software systems. 

Financial Service Representative

As a Loan Officer, you will play a pivotal role in delivering superior member service throughout the lending process, from account opening to various loan services. Your responsibilities will include managing deposit services such as account opening, closure, and maintenance, as well as processing loans, conducting loan interviews, and preparing applications for credit approval. Whether assisting members electronically or in-person, you will ensure a seamless experience while promoting and cross-selling our credit union's products and services to enhance member relationships and loyalty. You will also be responsible for resolving member issues and inquiries effectively and professionally.

Requirements: Previous experience with a full-service financial institution is preferred. High school diploma or equivalent. Strong understanding of financial services and products provided by the credit union. Knowledge of loan processing functions, requirements, and procedures. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in basic computer skills and willingness to learn new software/systems.

Direct Loan Associate

The Direct Loan Associate is responsible for assisting members with direct consumer loan applications from initial inquiry through loan closing. Serving as the primary point of contact for members throughout the lending process, this position receives and processes loan applications, gathers required documentation, prepares loan files for underwriting review, and coordinates loan closings. While the position may assist with booking indirect consumer loans, its primary focus is supporting members applying directly through Barksdale Federal Credit Union. The Direct Loan Associate delivers exceptional member service while identifying opportunities to recommend additional credit union products and services.

Requirements: Knowledge of loan processing functions and related requirements and procedures. Well organized and strong typing abilities. One to two years of varied office experience preferred. High school diploma or equivalent. Good verbal public relations skills.

Indirect Loan Associate

The Indirect Loan Associate is responsible for processing indirect consumer loan applications received through the credit union's dealership network. Serving as the primary point of contact for participating dealerships throughout the lending process, this position receives and processes loan applications, gathers required documentation, prepares loan files for underwriting review, and coordinates loan funding. While the primary focus is supporting indirect lending, the Indirect Loan Associate also assists with processing direct consumer loan applications as business needs require. This position works closely with dealership personnel, members, underwriters, and internal departments to ensure timely, accurate loan processing while providing exceptional service.

Member Service Representative

As a bank teller, you will be responsible for providing a variety of essential financial services. Your primary duties will include processing deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, cashiers’ checks, and cash advances accurately and efficiently. You will balance daily transactions and verify cash totals to maintain accuracy and compliance. In addition to your main responsibilities, you will perform assigned side-jobs and assist other tellers as needed to ensure seamless operations. Your role is crucial in ensuring that members receive prompt, professional service that enhances their banking experience.

Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent. Basic understanding of financial services and products provided by the credit union. General knowledge of bank teller policies and procedures. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in basic computer skills and willingness to learn new software/systems.
