ODP & OD Shares Collection Specialist

Receive delinquent ODP accounts and initiate action necessary to collect delinquent accounts. Responsible for collection effort of ODP by telephone, text, email, letter, and individual interview. Responsible for closing ODP accounts in accordance with the Overdraft Privilege Policy. Coordinate activity with outside sources if applicable. Responsible for submitting charge off overdrawn accounts to Efunds for reporting purposes only. Follows policy and procedures related to Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Customer Identification Program (CIP) and Customer Due Diligence (CDD) daily to ensure compliance with current regulations.
Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent; and one to two years related collection experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. A cooperative, positive attitude toward members and fellow employees using sound interpersonal skills. A working knowledge of collection regulations and procedures.
Head Member Service Representative

As a head bank teller, you will be responsible for providing a variety of essential financial services. Your primary duties will include answering other tellers questions, resolves more complex problems, and oversees balancing. Responsible for smooth flow of teller lines, adequate coverage, and general training of tellers. As wells as ensuring members are promptly and professionally served through processing their deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, cashiers’ checks, and cash advances accurately and efficiently. You will balance daily transactions and verify cash totals to maintain accuracy and compliance. In addition to your main responsibilities, you will perform assigned side-jobs and assist other tellers as needed to ensure seamless operations. Your role is crucial in ensuring that members receive prompt, professional service that enhances their banking experience.
REQUIREMENTS: Minimum of 6 to twelve months related experience and/or training: or equivalent combination of education and experience. A thorough knowledge of bank teller policies and procedures. High school diploma or equivalent. Basic understanding of financial services and products provided by the credit union. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in basic computer skills and willingness to learn new software/systems.
Direct Loan Associate

Perform all tasks associated with booking direct and indirect consumer loans with the exception of underwriting beginning with taking telephone, mail or e-mail applications to working up the applications for underwriters’ review, communicating with members and closing the loans. The ability to cross sell other Barksdale Federal Credit Union products, excellent communication skills, the capability to perform well in a fast-moving, high-stress environment and a team spirit are key factors in this position.

Business Loan Ops Administrator

Support the credit administration area of the Business Services Department by providing various services and administrative duties including the preparation of all commercial loan documentation and the management of ticklers and exceptions. Reviews and approves pre-closing documentation for commercial loans. This includes reviewing lender files, preliminary title reports, entity documents, appraisals, preparation and review of the closing documents for accuracy, assuring receipt of all required closing documentation and compliance and satisfaction of all closing conditions and covenants. Prepares commercial loan documents accurately and punctually within the commercial lending platform, and coordinates requests for loan documentation from other 3rd party vendors and attorneys. Coordinates loan documentation review with other Business Services staff to ensure documents are accurate. Prepares file for post close pending. Understanding of the credit union’s commercial loan policy, especially as it relates to loan origination, documentation and exceptions.
Requirements: Five years of commercial loan closing experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Associate degree in business or a related field, or an equivalent combination of training and work experience. Ability to handle large volumes of work while maintaining accuracy. A cooperative, positive attitude using sound interpersonal skills. Be able to adapt to changes in responsibilities as the business climate dictates.
Financial Service Representative

As a Loan Officer, you will play a pivotal role in delivering superior member service throughout the lending process, from account opening to various loan services. Your responsibilities will include managing deposit services such as account opening, closure, and maintenance, as well as processing loans, conducting loan interviews, and preparing applications for credit approval. Whether assisting members electronically or in-person, you will ensure a seamless experience while promoting and cross-selling our credit union's products and services to enhance member relationships and loyalty.
