Responsible for filing credit life on deceased members accounts. Filing disability insurance on accounts for members who are unable to work due to injury.  Maintain IRA minimum distributions.  This is a high contact position that requires the ability to deal effectively with people by telephone, in writing and via Internet.

Requirements: One year experience or equivalent in IRA, operations or new accounts and investment. Prior financial experience preferred. Ability to work well under pressure. High school diploma or equivalent. Basic understanding of financial services and products provided by the credit union. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in basic computer skills and willingness to learn new software/systems.

Perform all tasks associated with booking direct and indirect consumer loans with the exception of underwriting beginning with taking telephone, mail or e-mail applications to working up the applications for underwriters’ review, communicating with members and closing the loans. The ability to cross sell other Barksdale Federal Credit Union products, excellent communication skills, the capability to perform well in a fast-moving, high-stress environment and a team spirit are key factors in this position. 

Requirements: Knowledge of loan processing functions and related requirements and procedures. Well organized and strong typing abilities. One to two years of varied office experience preferred. High school diploma or equivalent. Good verbal public relations skills.
