Receptionist

The Receptionist serves as the first point of contact for members and visitors by answering incoming telephone calls, greeting members and guests as they enter the branch in a professional and courteous manner, and directing inquiries to the appropriate employee or department. This position provides general information and assistance to members while performing a variety of administrative and clerical duties that support daily branch operations. Responsibilities include assisting branch personnel with operational and administrative tasks as needed while maintaining the confidentiality of member information and ensuring compliance with all credit union policies and procedures.

Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent. Basic understanding of financial services and products provided by the credit union. General knowledge of bank teller policies and procedures. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in basic computer skills and willingness to learn new software/systems.

Head Member Service Representative

As a  head bank teller, you will be responsible for providing a variety of essential financial services. Your primary duties will include answering other tellers questions, resolves more complex problems, and oversees balancing. Responsible for smooth flow of teller lines, adequate coverage, and general training of tellers.  As wells as ensuring members are promptly and professionally served through processing their deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, cashiers’ checks, and cash advances accurately and efficiently. You will balance daily transactions and verify cash totals to maintain accuracy and compliance. In addition to your main responsibilities, you will perform assigned side-jobs and assist other tellers as needed to ensure seamless operations. Your role is crucial in ensuring that members receive prompt, professional service that enhances their banking experience.

Requirements: Minimum of 6 to twelve months related experience and/or training: or equivalent combination of education and experience. A thorough knowledge of bank teller policies and procedures. High school diploma or equivalent. Basic understanding of financial services and products provided by the credit union. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in basic computer skills and willingness to learn new software/systems.

Business Relationship Officer

The Business Relationship Officer is responsible for business development and commercial lending activities for the Business Services department. This position develops and maintains relationships with existing and prospective business members by identifying their financial needs and recommending appropriate business products and services. The Business Relationship Officer originates and processes business loans, supports commercial members throughout the lending process, and works to expand the credit union's business portfolio through exceptional service and community engagement.

Requirements: Five to eight years of similar or related experience. Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field, or an equivalent combination of training and work experience. Strong interpersonal and public relations skills. Excellent sales abilities. Good organizational and problem-solving skills.

Indirect Loan Associate

The Indirect Loan Associate is responsible for processing indirect consumer loan applications received through the credit union's dealership network. Serving as the primary point of contact for participating dealerships throughout the lending process, this position receives and processes loan applications, gathers required documentation, prepares loan files for underwriting review, and coordinates loan funding. While the primary focus is supporting indirect lending, the Indirect Loan Associate also assists with processing direct consumer loan applications as business needs require. This position works closely with dealership personnel, members, underwriters, and internal departments to ensure timely, accurate loan processing while providing exceptional service.

Requirements: Knowledge of loan processing functions and related requirements and procedures. Well organized and strong typing abilities. One to two years of varied office experience preferred. High school diploma or equivalent. Good verbal public relations skills.

Collection Legal Specialist

Act as a liaison between Barksdale Federal Credit Union, members, and attorneys. Duties include research, preparation and filing of all correspondence related to legal accounts. Also responsible for all incoming telephone calls and questions concerning legal accounts. 

Requirements: Previous collection experience preferred. Knowledge of collection procedures and related laws and regulations. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Basic understanding of the U.S. Bankruptcy Code. Understanding of Small Claims Court system.
