Direct Loan Associate

Perform all tasks associated with booking direct and indirect consumer loans with the exception of underwriting beginning with taking telephone, mail or e-mail applications to working up the applications for underwriters’ review, communicating with members and closing the loans. The ability to cross sell other Barksdale Federal Credit Union products, excellent communication skills, the capability to perform well in a fast-moving, high-stress environment and a team spirit are key factors in this position.
Requirements: Knowledge of loan processing functions and related requirements and procedures. Well organized and strong typing abilities. One to two years of varied office experience preferred. High school diploma or equivalent. Good verbal public relations skills.
Credit Card Analyst

As a Credit Card Analyst you are responsible for managing card operations, including posting and balancing transactions, as well as performing various card processing functions. The role also involves completing related clerical tasks and providing exceptional customer service. Key responsibilities include: Performing card transaction processing and balancing. Completing assigned posting duties accurately and on time. Managing customer service inquiries, complaints, and requests. Assisting with member transfers, payments, and other card-related issues. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and a commitment to providing outstanding service to members and vendors.
Requirements: One to two years of related experience. Strong understanding of financial services and products provided by the credit union. Knowledge of Card Processing procedures and requirements. Excellent communication and public relations skills. Familiarity with related accounting procedures. High school diploma or equivalent. Windows-based software programs including Word and Excel spreadsheets and ten key.
Recovery Collector

Responsible of review of written-off loans. Locate and contact debtors in an attempt to recover all or part of the amount owed. This recovery is to be handled through either, payment in full, compromise of settlement, set up monthly payment plan, and if deemed necessary through possible litigation. Produce correspondence reports and other material. Utilize capabilities of equipment to spell check, edit or otherwise organize data in presentation form.
Requirements: Knowledge of collection procedures and related laws and regulations. High school diploma or equivalent. Understanding of company policies. Familiar with default and enforcement clauses. Basic understanding of the US Bankruptcy Code. Understanding of Small Claims Court system. Previous collection experience preferred.
Financial Service Representative

Virtual Teller

Virtual Teller is responsible for delivering superior and efficient service to members of the credit union who interact with the credit union through our branch locations. This person will serve as the face of the credit union and as such, must have a general understanding of credit union processes, products, and services. While the primary role of this individual is to process transactions, this person is responsible for educating members about all available service channels available. Responsible for referring members to other branch employee(s) or departments in the credit union. Must support a sales and service culture.
