Facilities Support

As a Facilities Support team member, you’ll spend your day keeping our Shreveport/Bossier-area credit union locations connected and running smoothly. You’ll travel an established route to pick up and deliver mail, packages, legal documents, securities, supplies, and correspondence while ensuring important deliveries are handled accurately and securely. You’ll also assist with routine vehicle maintenance, supply purchases, and other facilities support needs. This is a hands-on role where reliability, organization, attention to detail, and a willingness to help keep things moving are key to success.
Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent. Must hold a valid Driver's license and have excellent driving skills. Cooperative and willing to assist others. Knowledge of the location of various institutions and offices to be included on messenger rounds and errands.
Staff Auditor

The Staff Internal Auditor helps ensure the Credit Union operates with integrity, efficiency, and accountability. By performing audit testing and evaluating internal controls, this role supports informed decision-making and continuous improvement throughout the organization. The Staff Internal Auditor contributes to the success of the Internal Audit department while helping safeguard the trust of our members and employees.
Requirements: Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or business-related field is required. Proficient in the use of Microsoft Word and Excel. Accurate and attentive to detail. One to two years of financial service experience preferred. Industry certification (Certified Internal Auditor CIA or Certified Information Systems Auditor CISA) preferred but not required; willingness to obtain the certification is required.

As a Loan Officer, you will play a pivotal role in delivering superior member service throughout the lending process, from account opening to various loan services. Your responsibilities will include managing deposit services such as account opening, closure, and maintenance, as well as processing loans, conducting loan interviews, and preparing applications for credit approval. Whether assisting members electronically or in-person, you will ensure a seamless experience while promoting and cross-selling our credit union's products and services to enhance member relationships and loyalty. Requirements: Previous experience with a full-service financial institution is preferred. High school diploma or equivalent. Universal Service Representative

As a Universal Service Representative, you’ll be the friendly face that welcomes members and helps them with everyday banking needs. From processing deposits and withdrawals to assisting with loan payments and issuing cashier’s checks, you’ll ensure every transaction is accurate and efficient. You’ll also help balance daily transactions, support your teammates, and take on a variety of branch tasks to keep things running smoothly. As needed, you may also help open and close accounts, update member information, and provide account support.

EFT Analyst

The EFT Analyst plays a critical role in ensuring the accurate operation, balancing, and maintenance of the credit union's ATM and Interactive Teller Machine (ITM) network. This position combines analytical problem-solving, financial reconciliation, member support, and operational processing to deliver exceptional service to both internal and external members while maintaining the integrity of financial records and card services operations. Reconcile general ledger accounts daily. Prepare end of month reconciliation for accounting division on specific general ledger accounts. Performs servicing maintenance, posting, balancing and clerical duties as assigned by department manager.
Requirements: One to two years of related experience preferred. High school diploma or equivalent. Knowledge of Card Processing procedures and requirements. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to analyze accounts.
Direct Loan Associate

The Direct Loan Associate is responsible for assisting members with direct consumer loan applications from initial inquiry through loan closing. Serving as the primary point of contact for members throughout the lending process, this position receives and processes loan applications, gathers required documentation, prepares loan files for underwriting review, and coordinates loan closings. While the position may assist with booking indirect consumer loans, its primary focus is supporting members applying directly through Barksdale Federal Credit Union. Card Services Analyst

Indirect Loan Associate

The Indirect Loan Associate is responsible for processing indirect consumer loan applications received through the credit union's dealership network. Serving as the primary point of contact for participating dealerships throughout the lending process, this position receives and processes loan applications, gathers required documentation, prepares loan files for underwriting review, and coordinates loan funding. While the primary focus is supporting indirect lending, the Indirect Loan Associate also assists with processing direct consumer loan applications as business needs require. This position works closely with dealership personnel, members, underwriters, and internal departments to ensure timely, accurate loan processing while providing exceptional service.

Call Center Representative

As a Call Center Representative, you will be responsible for handling a diverse range of member service calls in a prompt and courteous manner. You will address and resolve member inquiries and issues related to accounts, orders, payments, products, and services, ensuring a high level of satisfaction. This role includes actively cross-selling products and services to enhance member relationships. This is a high contact position that requires the ability to deal effectively with members by telephone, in writing and via Internet. This role involves managing approximately 25,000 incoming calls and over 35,000 transactions annually.
Requirements: At least one year experience in customer service or call center required. High school graduate or equivalent. Strong communication skills with a professional and courteous demeanor. Ability to handle high call volumes and multiple tasks simultaneously. Basic understanding of financial services and products provided by the credit union. Proficiency in using computer applications and learning new software systems.
