Financial Service Representative

As a Loan Officer, you will play a pivotal role in delivering superior member service throughout the lending process, from account opening to various loan services. Your responsibilities will include managing deposit services such as account opening, closure, and maintenance, as well as processing loans, conducting loan interviews, and preparing applications for credit approval. Whether assisting members electronically or in-person, you will ensure a seamless experience while promoting and cross-selling our credit union's products and services to enhance member relationships and loyalty. You will also be responsible for resolving member issues and inquiries effectively and professionally.
Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent. Strong understanding of financial services and products provided by the credit union. Knowledge of loan processing functions, requirements, and procedures. Previous experience with a full-service financial institution is preferred. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in basic computer skills and willingness to learn new software/systems.
Network Administrator

Responsible for maintaining smooth operations of all Company networks, systems, and applications. Provides technical support to users as needed, diagnoses and resolves connectivity problems, and monitors system security, backup, and virus protection. Evaluates, recommends, and implements network software and hardware, and assists in the development of IT strategies and policies. Maintains professional business relations with clients and outside contacts. Keeps management well informed of area activities.
Self-motivated individual who will share ownership of LAN/WAN network infrastructure and telecommunications systems with existing IT staff. This individual will provide hands-on technical knowledge of day-to-day, 24/7 network operations. Must have the ability to handle multiple projects, be highly organized, be a team player, be flexible, and stay up to date on any changes or advancements in technology. This position is well suited to a technically experienced generalist who enjoys a range of networking responsibilities.
Requirements: At least two years of experience with PC hardware and software configuration and network support functions. Knowledge of network operations including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, Firewalls, and Subnetting. High school graduate or equivalent with two years of additional college computer training or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. Strong customer service skills and willingness to assist others. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Able to communicate complex information clearly.
Bankruptcy/Legal Specialist

Liaison between Barksdale Federal Credit Union Centers, bankrupt members and bankruptcy trustees. File bankruptcy claims, prepare all correspondence, and handle telephone call and questions concerning bankrupt accounts.
Requirements: Previous collection experience preferred. Basic understanding of the U.S. Bankruptcy Code. Strong understanding of Small Claims Court system. Knowledge of collection procedures and related laws and regulations. Ability to work well in stressful situations. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
