Center Supervisor

As a Credit Union Center Supervisor, you will lead the day-to-day operations of the financial center while creating an environment where employees thrive and members receive exceptional service. You'll spend your day coaching and developing your team, ensuring operational excellence, solving member concerns, and jumping in wherever needed to keep the center running smoothly. Working alongside the Center Manager, you'll help execute the center's strategic goals, support employee growth, monitor operational performance, and ensure compliance with credit union policies and regulatory requirements. 

Requirements: At least five years of related experience in a financial institution, with a minimum of two years of supervisory experience. Excellent communication and public relations skills. Thorough understanding of related legal and regulatory requirements for a Credit Union. Accurate and attentive to detail. High school diploma or equivalent. Additional college coursework in business or finance preferred. 

Collector

As a Collector, your day is focused on recovering outstanding balances on written-off loans while treating every member with professionalism, respect, and empathy. You’ll research accounts, communicate with debtors, and use problem-solving skills to develop appropriate repayment solutions, including payment in full, settlements, or monthly payment arrangements. You’ll maintain accurate documentation, prepare correspondence and reports, and follow up on collection activity. When necessary, you’ll evaluate accounts for further recovery efforts, including possible litigation, while ensuring all actions remain consistent with credit union policies and regulatory requirements.

Requirements: Previous collection experience preferred. High school diploma or equivalent. Knowledge of collection procedures and related laws and regulations. Basic understanding of the U.S. Bankruptcy Code. Understanding of Small Claims Court system. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work well in stressful situations.

Direct Loan Associate

The Direct Loan Associate is responsible for assisting members with direct consumer loan applications from initial inquiry through loan closing. Serving as the primary point of contact for members throughout the lending process, this position receives and processes loan applications, gathers required documentation, prepares loan files for underwriting review, and coordinates loan closings. While the position may assist with booking indirect consumer loans, its primary focus is supporting members applying directly through Barksdale Federal Credit Union. The Direct Loan Associate delivers exceptional member service while identifying opportunities to recommend additional credit union products and services.

Requirements: Knowledge of loan processing functions and related requirements and procedures. Well organized and strong typing abilities. One to two years of varied office experience preferred. High school diploma or equivalent. Good verbal public relations skills.

Card Services Analyst

As a Card Services Analyst you are responsible for managing card operations, including posting and balancing transactions, as well as performing various card processing functions. The role also involves completing related clerical tasks and providing exceptional customer service. Key responsibilities include: Performing card transaction processing and balancing. Completing assigned posting duties accurately and on time. Managing customer service inquiries, complaints, and requests. Assisting with member transfers, payments, and other card-related issues. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and a commitment to providing outstanding service to members and vendors.

Requirements: One to two years of related experience. Strong understanding of financial services and products provided by the credit union. Knowledge of Card Processing procedures and requirements. Excellent communication and public relations skills. Familiarity with related accounting procedures. High school diploma or equivalent. Windows-based software programs including Word and Excel spreadsheets and ten key.

Receptionist

The Receptionist serves as the first point of contact for members and visitors by answering incoming telephone calls, greeting members and guests as they enter the branch in a professional and courteous manner, and directing inquiries to the appropriate employee or department. This position provides general information and assistance to members while performing a variety of administrative and clerical duties that support daily branch operations. Responsibilities include assisting branch personnel with operational and administrative tasks as needed while maintaining the confidentiality of member information and ensuring compliance with all credit union policies and procedures.

Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent. Basic understanding of financial services and products provided by the credit union. General knowledge of bank teller policies and procedures. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in basic computer skills and willingness to learn new software/systems.

Indirect Loan Associate

The Indirect Loan Associate is responsible for processing indirect consumer loan applications received through the credit union's dealership network. Serving as the primary point of contact for participating dealerships throughout the lending process, this position receives and processes loan applications, gathers required documentation, prepares loan files for underwriting review, and coordinates loan funding. While the primary focus is supporting indirect lending, the Indirect Loan Associate also assists with processing direct consumer loan applications as business needs require. This position works closely with dealership personnel, members, underwriters, and internal departments to ensure timely, accurate loan processing while providing exceptional service.

Member Service Representative

As a bank teller, you will be responsible for providing a variety of essential financial services. Your primary duties will include processing deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, cashiers’ checks, and cash advances accurately and efficiently. You will balance daily transactions and verify cash totals to maintain accuracy and compliance. In addition to your main responsibilities, you will perform assigned side-jobs and assist other tellers as needed to ensure seamless operations. Your role is crucial in ensuring that members receive prompt, professional service that enhances their banking experience.
